Genesis Health Clubs on Rock is hiring a Desk Coordinator. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Rock Road Tennis Desk, including hiring, recruiting, and training all new desk associates. Responsibilities include processing guest check-ins, desk staffing, member retention, and maintaining quality customer service. The Desk Coordinator will also conduct and maintain all desk inventories, POS, and daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicates kindly and sincerely using members' names
- Checks members in and out efficiently
- Processes member purchases, court times, and league play
- Is knowledgeable of Club's amenities and surroundings
- Ensures guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Executes procedures as outlined by the desk manual
- Manages and trains all desk associates
- Manages and oversees inventory
- Assists the General Manager with all desk operations, including hiring, scheduling, training, and management of desk staff
- Responsible for daily register deposits
- Maintains office supply orders
- Attends all staff and club meetings and events
- Establishes and maintains professional relationships with members and staff
- Ensures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) is completed in a timely manner
- Ensures the desk is clean, maintained, and organized at all times
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
- Ability to travel to all clubs to ensure staff efficiency
- Presents a professional demeanor at all times when representing Genesis Health Clubs
- Provides input in developing strategies to support club goals and objectives
- Develops and builds a team atmosphere among staff, departments, and clubs
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members
- Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of the start date
- Ability to work well with others
- Experience in cash handling and credit cards
- Customer service abilities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing, and speaking
