Regional Hygiene Leader

The Regional Hygiene Leader at Lumio Dental is responsible for overseeing the hygiene support within assigned regions. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong clinical background in dental and hygiene practices, exceptional communication skills and the ability to support clinical teams through training and mentorship. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all clinical procedures, protocols and compliance standards are consistently met across multiple locations within the Lumio Dental network.

• Provide mentorship to hygienists with on-site clinical visits
• Partner with hygiene teams to achieve goals and meet doctor expectations
• Establish, implement and maintain accurate KPIs for each hygienist on your team by utilizing data analytics systems
• Mentor in focus areas of: time management, clinical skills and team collaboration
• Actively collaborate with Operations leaders to enhance performance outcomes and align strategies for practice improvement
• Assumes leadership responsibilities while maintaining compliance with all duties and expectations listed in the RDH job description

• Minimum of 5+ years of clinical dental experience
• Active license in state of leadership
• Ability to travel long distances within designated region
• Strong knowledge of clinical support and a proven track record in training and developing fellow clinicians
• Ability to work in a hybrid role, balancing both clinical and administrative responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency in Open Dental, iTero systems, digital imaging software, procedural reports needed to track and report KPIs and Microsoft office systems
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments and work effectively with all teams

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push up to 100 pounds frequently (on wheels)
• Capability to stand or walk for extended periods without fatigue
• Adequate hearing to perform auscultation of blood pressure and other auditory tasks
• Sufficient vision to read X-rays and perform detailed work
• Ability to reach above shoulder level and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, reaching, kneeling and twisting.
• High manual dexterity and tactile sensitivity in fingertips for precise dental work
