Position: Physician / Cardiology - Interventional / Kansas / Permanent / Interventional Cardiologist Needed in Wichita, KS! Job
CASELOAD AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

- Percent of specialty work:

Some general cardiology, mainly interventional casework

Annual procedures: 150 first year, 300-350 in following years

Types of procedures:
Stents, caths, balloon caths, angios, pacemakers

Caths performed annually: 50% of total casework

Angios performed annually:
Appoximately 50 in average years

Surgery back up arrangement:
In house cardiovascular back up team with an in house operating room prepped and ready Cath labs in facility: 2 Angio suites in facility 1 (Part of Cath Lab)
Call schedule:
Call is shared with the group of cardio physicians with call rotating approximately every 4th weekend (1 in
8)
Pacemakers annually: 25% of total casework

Daily patient visits in clinic:

Average of ten patients or more daily

Nurse certifications: BLS, ACLSHospital size: 6 operating rooms

Hours /

Schedule:

Clinical hours (Monday Friday, 8-5), hospital rounds early in the day, days in the lab (2-3 per week)
Staff:
Provide basic staff, can increase staff as workload increases. Marketing:
We provides marketing materials, physician will be responsible for networking and generating patient base

Pay Index: 60% Medicare, 30% commercial, 5% Medicaid, 5% self-paid Equipment Used:
