Job Title: STEALTH Teacher (After-School Program)

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable STEALTH Teacher to lead engaging, hands‑on, cross‑curricular learning experiences for students in our after‑school program. This is NOT a worksheet‑based program—students learn through creative, interactive, and project‑based activities designed to spark curiosity and critical thinking.

• Teach fun, hands‑on lessons that integrate multiple subject areas (science, technology, engineering, art, literacy, math, and more).
• Plan and prepare engaging activities that encourage problem‑solving and collaboration.
• Provide academic tutoring daily for 10‑15 minutes.
• Arrange for substitute teachers when necessary and create clear substitute lesson plans.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with program staff, students, and families.

• Reliable, punctual, and well‑prepared for every session.
• Passionate about teaching and inspiring students through active, project‑based learning.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt and think creatively when planning lessons.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred.

• After‑school hours: 4:10–5:45 PM
• Teacher pay: $25 per hour;
  Para pay: $17 per hour

• Must be available to work the entire duration of the program.
• Must include current building administrator as a reference.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Physical Capacity Profile (PCP) test may be required, discussed at the time of offer.
• FLSA status:
  Non‑Exempt.
