Math Tutor / Instructor – Part‑time position at Mathnasium of East Wichita

Our mission is to make math make sense. We build students'' confidence, understanding, and love of mathematics. At Mathnasium we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional math experience in the greater Wichita area.

We are looking for applicants who can start now and continue through the school year (2025/2026) or beyond. Check the hours below for flexibility options.

• Provide exceptional math instruction using Mathnasium teaching materials.
• Assess student progress.
• Evaluate and correct student work and math homework.
• Offer individual instruction within a group setting.
• Assist with occasional non‑teaching/instructional tasks.

• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 1 (higher preferred). Pass a math competency exam before hiring.
• Passion for working with students; prior experience with children is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and outgoing personality.
• Clear, distinct, and easily understood spoken English.
• Comfortable with digital technology; must own a cell phone or similar device.
• Willing to work on site; this is not a remote position.
• Review the hours below; high school or college students receive some flexibility.

• School year:
  Mon‑Thu 2:45 pm – 7:45 pm, Fri 3:45 pm – 7:15 pm, Sat 8:45 am – 12:30 pm.
• Summer – to be announced.
