As an Aerospace Propulsion specialist, you ensure our airpower is properly serviced and ready to defend anytime, anywhere. You’ll service, test and repair all parts of our engines to meet operational standards. Your skills will ensure the safety and efficiency of our Airmen, in the air and on the ground.
Primary Responsibilities
- Detect and remove defective engine components.
- Diagnose engine issues, including oil, electrical, and airflow systems.
- Recommend maintenance actions.
- Supervise repair and test procedures.

Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED with 15 college credits, or GED
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydromechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles
- Completion of aerospace propulsion maintenance courses
- Current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks, and Credit
- Completion of 8.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Age between 17 and 39
