• Will be responsible for the financial operation of Dold and Alma manufacturing.
• Prepares accurate financial operating statements reflecting current profitability by department.
• Coordinates and prepares Dold and Alma annual operating plan and reforecasts.
• Supervises and leads local finance staff, including the payroll accounting function.
• Ensures compliance with Hormel policies.
• Protects all company assets at Dold and Alma including such assets as cash, building, equipment, raw materials, supplies and finished products at all stages of the process.
• Supervises and monitors the internal flow of production records and the establishment and maintenance of all product’s standard costs.

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis or major in the fields of accounting or finance.
• Successful employment in an exempt position in an accounting, audit, finance or treasury function.
• Pattern of initiative and leadership.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

• Operational accounting experience.
• Familiarity with Oracle, QAD and AS400 systems.
• CMA, CPA or CIA certification, or actively working towards certification.

Wichita, KS. Comprehensive relocation package to the Wichita, KS area will be offered if needed.
