Responsibilities and Expectations- Underwrite/Decision all Consumer Loans, Small Business Loans and Small Business Credit Cards if the aggregate lending relationship is under $250,000. Small Business Products would include the following:
Commercial requests for both secured and unsecured term loans and lines of credit. - Review customer credit reports
- Review/Verify customer income documentation
- Review Business Tax Returns and Financial Statements for Business Applications
- Review any Guarantor Income and Credit Information for Business Applications
- Review/Verify loan collateral
- Update and maintain loan pipeline; respond to new requests in a timely manner
- Prepare Documents in Laser Pro
- Follow-up with Bankers on signed loan documents
- Ensure Compliance for Loan Applications/Denials/Withdrawals
- Deliver OUTSTANDING Customer Service to Customers both internal and external
- Become an expert in the application/underwriting software (Decision Pro, etc.)
- Provide compliance support and follow-up with frontline personnel
- Assist in training loan officers in Decision Pro and other necessary programs
- Troubleshoot Decision Pro system issues as they arise
- Assist in customizing/tailoring Decision Pro as needed
- Attend and provide support to training classes, as required
- Participate in inter-departmental meetings, as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years banking experience required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner
- Computer skills, especially the ability to work in Windows based systems

Physical RequirementsThis position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting on a regular basis. May require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or reach with hands and arms.
