Regulatory Consumer Compliance Analyst
Position: Regulatory Consumer Compliance Analyst
Department: Audit & Compliance
Location: Wichita, KS (on-site)
Status: Full-time/Hourly
Salary: $60,800 – $110,000 per year
Responsibilities & Expectations- Lead and participate in compliance review engagements, from planning to reporting, and produce quality deliverables while ensuring timely completion.
- Document monitoring activities accurately and thoroughly, clearly communicating objectives, scope, and conclusions.
- Finalize findings and provide overall opinion on the control environment, developing recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
- Prepare effective communication reports summarizing findings, root cause analysis, and opportunities for automated controls.
- Verify implementation of remediation plans and confirm issues are fully addressed.
- Perform follow‑up for action plan completion, ensuring timely status updates in the GRC tool.
- Maintain working knowledge of consumer compliance rules and their impact on products, services, and operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and team members.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments of banking laws and regulations to support a risk‑focused compliance monitoring framework.
- Recognize the confidential nature of Risk and Compliance communications and protect information confidentiality and security.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Required Skills & Education- Bachelor's degree (or relevant financial services experience)
- Experience with internal audit methodology and audit delivery execution.
- Solid understanding of internal control concepts and the ability to evaluate controls against business and technology risks.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory requirements related to consumer compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to establish credibility and build senior-level partnerships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented, with the ability to complete reporting and analytics accurately and timely.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as a team player.
- Eager to learn new things in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work in structured and unstructured environments while maintaining focus on big‑picture objectives.
This position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting on a regular basis. It may require stooping, kneeling, crouching, or reaching with hands and arms. The role requires the ability to carry, lift, move or push up to 25 pounds occasionally, and to talk and listen to others.
