Position DetailsTitle:
EMT – Emergency Medical Technician – Full‑Time
Reports to:
Operations Manager, Transports Team Lead
Full‑time employment with medical, dental, vision coverage, wellness and uniform allowances, tuition assistance, 96 hours of PTO per year, a drug‑free workplace, and equal‑opportunity employment.
Compensation:
Starting at $50,000 per year, increasing with experience and credentials. Total rewards include a uniform allowance, wellness allowance (gym memberships, park passes, gear), and insurance options.
Schedule:
72‑hour shifts – 3 days on, 6 days off. Shifts are performed in Dodge City, KS.
- Work in an IFT environment requiring critical thinking, professional development, and exceptional clinical decision‑making.
- Maintain and encourage EMS Unlimited values in yourself and coworkers.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency and non‑emergency requests.
- Provide basic clinical care with compassion and professionalism in accordance with company doctrine and federal, state, and local laws.
- Conduct medical equipment inventory and keep supplies clean, organized, and restocked after each use.

- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency and non‑emergency calls.
- Assess patients’ conditions and provide appropriate basic life support and medical care.
- Transport patients safely to healthcare facilities, ensuring comfort and stability.
- Accurately document patient information, treatments, and incident details.
- Maintain ambulance equipment, supplies, and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with other emergency responders, healthcare professionals, and team members.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and families.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the ambulance.
- Assist in community outreach and education programs related to emergency preparedness.
- Valid Kansas EMT License.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least {AGE} years old.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
