Physical Therapy By Phoenix is seeking an outpatient physical therapist for our South Wichita, KS clinic that is engaging and friendly with a drive to pursue exceptional clinical quality. You will evaluate, treat, and guide patients through individualized rehabilitation programs, focusing on functional improvement, pain reduction, and long‑term wellness in a supportive, patient‑centered environment.
Compensation$68,000 – $78,000
Qualifications- Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT)
- Current and active state physical therapy license
- New graduates are welcome
- Evaluate patients, identify movement or functional limitations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide one‑on‑one care including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, patient education, and physical agents as appropriate
- Document evaluations, goals, progress, and treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care to maximize outcomes
- Educate patients and families on home programs, condition management, and recovery expectations
- Collaborate with referring providers and clinic staff to coordinate care
- Ensure informed consent by clearly communicating expected benefits, risks, and alternatives
- Discharge patients when goals are met and provide recommendations or referrals as needed
- Active listening and clear communication with patients
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving during evaluations and treatments
- Foundational clinical reasoning using evidence‑based principles
- Ability to learn new techniques and adapt to new information
- Strong reading and writing skills for accurate documentation
- Ability to build rapport and maintain social awareness with patients
- Service‑oriented mindset and willingness to support others
- Effective time management for balancing caseload and documentation
