    • $67,589 - $72,033 p.a | OPS3
    • $76,561 - $80,256 p.a | OPS4
  • Temporary Full Time working over a 5-day roster up to 30 June 2026
  • Eligibility:
    Open to Everyone

Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either an OPS3 or OPS4, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage is considered essential.

Take on a rewarding role where you’ll directly impact the health and development outcomes of Aboriginal children. As part of the Child Health and Development (CHAD) team, you’ll deliver culturally appropriate care, early childhood therapy, and community-based support. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with families, Allied Health Practitioners, Nurses, and Medical staff, helping children thrive and ensuring access to essential health services across community clinics, home visits, and education settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Aboriginal children, families, and communities to improve access to health services.
  • Support families in obtaining referrals and connecting with community supports.
  • Deliver culturally safe and responsive health and development care for Aboriginal children.
  • Assist in promoting children’s social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Contribute to evidence-based practice that meets the needs of Aboriginal children and families.
  • Participate in community clinics, home visits, education settings, and Aboriginal Health/Community Controlled Health Services.
  • Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of health education programs (Practitioner level).
  • Contribute to policies, procedures, and practice standards within the team (Practitioner level).
