Take the lead in one of regional South Australia’s busiest and most dynamic Emergency Departments.

As the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you’ll provide pivotal clinical and operational leadership to a dedicated multidisciplinary team, ensuring safe, high-quality and compassionate emergency care for the Limestone Coast community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
  • Coordinate clinical services, staffing, and resources to maintain safe and effective patient flow.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and accountability.
  • Lead change and innovation to enhance emergency care delivery and patient outcomes.
Qualifications
  • A Registered Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with current AHPRA registration and significant emergency nursing experience.
  • A confident and collaborative leader with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Skilled in managing people, resources, and clinical systems in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Committed to excellence in patient care, staff wellbeing, and continuous service improvement.

We serve a population of over 67,000 people in the Limestone Coast, as well as residents from Western Victoria. The LCLHN employs over 1,400 staff members and is supported by approximately 600 volunteers.
