On behalf Mercure Larnaca City Hotel, a brand new 4
* boutique hotel operated by Solaar Hospitality, we seek to recruit Kitchen Cooks. There is the possibility to work full-time or part-time, as well as all year round or seasonal employment.
Mercure City Hotel is a contemporary hotel nestled in the heart of Larnaca. With its prime city location, a mere 3-minute walk to Finikoudes beach, stylish accommodations, and exceptional amenities, Mercure City Hotel offers guests an unforgettable stay with international hospitality standard infused with local charm.
Duties & Responsibilities- Prepare food as specified by the Executive Chef and the pre-set recipes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station.
- Delivers the highest possible standards of quality food, presentation and services through the effective management of equipment and provisions.
- Maintains a clean and orderly cooking station and adheres to health and safety standards.
- Receive ingredients and other supplies from the main kitchen and/or pantry as required for daily operations.
- Reports to the supervisory and management team of the kitchen any deficiencies that are observed.
- Provides support to more junior members of the team.
- Undertake any other relevant duties and responsibilities, as assigned by management.
- Knowledge of the Greek or English language.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is a must.
- Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts is preferable.
- Possess team spirit and ability to work at a high paced environment.
- EU citizen with a valid residence and work permit in Cyprus is a must.
