Schedule:
Full‑time; days and hours may vary with rotating weekends.
Requirements:
Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Fixed Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.
Job SummaryPerforms light cleaning duties to maintain establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
- Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs and draperies.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery.
- Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
- Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empties and cleans trash containers and disposes of trash sanitarily.
- Washes and cleans washbasins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipes down glass surfaces.
- Makes up beds and changes linens as required.
- Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
- Responds to guest queries and requests.
- Responds to housekeeping issues such as spills and broken glasses.
- Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers, colleagues, and others.
