Job Story Ennovar is looking for a student assistant software engineer to work at Integra Technologies.
Job Summary A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties- Provide enhancements and bug fixes for OMS and related database interfaces.
- Includes PL/SQL, Python, Perl, Java, and shell scripts.
- Support personal computers and related peripherals in a professional manner.
- Troubleshoot and support network infrastructure; perform upgrades and assist with monitoring for potential issues.
- Install upgrades and configure network printing, directory structures, rights, security, and software on file servers.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processes and improve existing computer systems.
- Provide IT support for all systems in production areas, including printers, networking, tablets, and Windows-based systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Requirements- Enrollment in a Computer Science or related degree program
- Student must have completed their Introduction to Programming course.
- Prior hardware and software experience
- Effectively and efficiently use Microsoft Office applications and other computer programs.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical user/administration manuals for networks, personal computers, operating systems, or other materials related to job duties.
- Ability to effectively interface with other departments and management.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position.
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
- Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
