This role is responsible for supporting performance testing services for Origination's & Servicing Project teams, ensuring application performance and server capacity in production. The Performance QA Engineer will support various testing types including regression, manual, automated, and load/balancing testing.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with project teams to identify applications for performance testing
• Understand SDLC phases and testing activities related to performance testing
• Apply knowledge of Agile methodologies to performance testing processes
• Define and understand performance non-functional requirements and SLAs
• Perform various performance tests such as load, stress, and endurance testing
• Automate tests using QTP/UFT with VBScript and Selenium
• Develop scripts for Web, true client, and Citrix protocols
• Create custom functions for testing scripts
• Configure environment and data for testing
• Execute load tests with Load Runner
• Analyze test results, including transaction response times, server metrics, and network bandwidth
• Monitor server performance metrics and correlate with Load Runner data
• Create trend analysis reports based on previous test executions
• Document defects in QC ALM
• Generate comprehensive load test reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with QTP/UFT scripting, testing, and analysis on web and Citrix applications
• Proficiency in Quality Center
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, and HTML for analyzing test results
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
