Commercial Litigation Associate
Responsibilities- Handle complex commercial litigation matters involving contract disputes, business torts, and related commercial claims.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Manage discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, document production, and e‑discovery.
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies aligned with client goals.
- Engage in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions.
- Maintain strong client communication and provide strategic legal advice.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the State Bar.
- 3‑5 years of commercial litigation experience, preferably with trial or deposition exposure.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and client‑management abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a litigation caseload.
- Must be in good standing with the Kansas Bar.
- Salary: $100,000 - $145,000
- Standard health benefits (medical, dental, vision)
