The Retail Manager oversees day‑to‑day operations across all branch locations and the contact center, ensuring an exceptional member experience, strong operational efficiency, and compliance with credit union policies.
As a people‑first professional, you will lead and support teams across four branches and the contact center, fostering a member‑focused sales culture and driving growth.
What You’ll Do- Manage Operations: Supervise branch and contact center staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Oversee daily branch and contact center functions, including teller, member service, and call center activities.
- Team Development & Culture
:
Model and promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and member‑first service. Foster professional growth through training, mentoring, and coaching of branch supervisor staff. - Drive Member Experience & Sales Culture: Support teams in resolving complex inquiries and reinforce relationship‑based sales across all channels. Train & develop branch staff to identify opportunities to assist members with additional products and services.
- Have 5+ years of retail banking or credit union experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Communicate clearly, lead by example, and foster teamwork.
- Have a proven track record of fostering a sales‑focused, relationship‑driven culture.
- Are detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing operations and security protocols across multiple locations, including the contact center.
- Experience in a credit union environment.
- Familiarity with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and branch/contact center operations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus.
