JOB SUMMARY
Performs a number of duties to trim, fill, sand and bond to prepare a variety of standard composite parts in accordance with shop orders, oral and written instructions and blueprints.
JOB Responsibilities- Ensures composite assemblies meet bonding cure specifications.
- Hand Trim composite panels ensuring they meet quality requirements and engineering dimensions.
- Prepares composite surfaces by filling and sanding to a smooth surface.
- Uses small hand tools, sanders, drills, routers, adhesive applicators, calipers, gauges and other measuring instruments.
- Responsible only for own work.
- Performs other related duties as required
Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level Work Keys certification and Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class is preferred.
Experience- 0-6 months of composite experience required.
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions with exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes and liquids. Safety shoes and protective clothing could be required.
