Job Summary:
As an Assembly Technician, you will be trained to build valves for numerous aerospace applications. The training will include the usage of many tools, gauges, and various pneumatic and electronic equipment used in the process of building and testing valves. Additionally, you will learn electrical soldering, how to read blue prints, common terminology, and standard practices in aerospace manufacturing.
- Assemble and test products as directed by work instructions.

None
- Required:
A strong ability to understand mechanical assemblies and comfortable learning and using various equipment. - An acute attention to detail is extremely important given the complexity of the product.
- Good communication skills.
- A positive attitude and ability to work cohesively with subordinates, peers, and superiors.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a similar production environment.
- Prior exposure to aerospace requirements and practices.
- Background in testing with electronics.
- The tasks require the employee to stand; walk; use hands and fingers; and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Assembly Technicians will use a variety of hand tools and power tools, along with electronic and pneumatic equipment and gauges.
- Temperature controlled factory environment.
