Traveling Quality Inspector -Part Time

Trigo is seeking a Part Time Traveling Quality Inspector in the Wichita, KS area.

Pay is $18/hr and 1st shift.

MUST BE BASED NEAR OR AROUND Wichita, KS.

• Operations:
  Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects;
  Read and follow work instructions and general processes;
  Use measuring or testing equipment as needed;
  Ensure products meet quality standards;
  Bring parts into compliance by deburring, destrusting, grinding, etc.;
  Utilize gauges and other measurement tools;
  Display excellent customer service;
  Must comply with local and company health & safety legislation, laws, and policies.
• Organization & Management:
  Collect and record data.
• Technical:
  Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
• Other:
  Any other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• Must be able to read basic blueprints to determine tolerance of parts and/or sub-assemblies.
• In proximity to moving, mechanical parts and machinery.

• Demonstrated knowledge of tools, practices, and industry quality standards.
• Demonstrated expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Understanding of database principles and knowledge of MS Access.
