Join NOV as a Quality Tester on our Fiberglass Systems team during the day shift in Wichita, KS! In this role, you'll support the Quality Assurance department to ensure our products meet and exceed quality standards while prioritizing safety. Primary

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Test sample preparation, assembly, and testing
  • Conduct Burst Tests, including Long/Short Term Burst Test ASTM D1599 Pressure Burst
  • Perform MTS Test, DSC Test, LOI Test
  • Support R&D, product development, and long-term testing setup/monitoring
  • Perform chemical characterization of raw materials and products following analytical procedures
  • Assist in developing QA lab analytical procedures based on recognized standards
  • Maintain lab records of tested samples
  • Evaluate field return samples and maintain lab equipment
  • Inspect sample failures and determine causes
  • Use lab equipment such as microscopes, DSC, etc., for analysis
  • Assist with winding prototype fiberglass pipes for testing
  • Keep work area and tools organized and clean
  • Measure production parts and molds for tolerances
  • Wear PPE as required and adhere to company policies
  • Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business (preferred)
  • At least 3 years of shop/lab experience
Job Requirements
  • Ability to work overtime and stand/walk/bend for up to 10 hours daily
  • Repetitive movements, lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling
  • Travel less than 5%
  • Physically demanding position
