Position Summary:
Responsible for managing the the flow of materials, parts, and products ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and compliance with shipping regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory transactions in the company's ERP system.
- Coordinate with production, quality control, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management and control.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipping and receiving activities.
- Ensure the shipping and receiving area is organized, clean, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP system, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and operate material handling equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a "U.S. Citizen".
