* Summary:

** Set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and multi-axis CNC machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts to customer specifications.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Change out and set up tools
* Operate multi-axis machines
* Dimensionally check parts (up to CMM)
* Read programs and make minor speeds and feeds program changes
* Verify tool lengths and cutter run outs
* Trouble shoot jobs
* Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts
* Accept and adapt easily to change
* Ensures that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement
* Operates job-related equipment with or without an accommodation
* Meets physical demands of job with or without an accommodation
* Other duties as assigned## Qualifications

* Technical school certification preferred, high school diploma or GED preferred
* 1+ year experience
* Proficient using precision measure tools, GD&T, and shop math
* Blueprint reading
* Understand and interpret customer specifications
* Familiar with G and M programming codes
* Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor’s direction; and taking responsibility for own actions
* Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed, and perform work independently without being prompted
* Ability to manage competing priorities, prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and work within deadlines
* Read, write, and speak English fluently
* U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR requirement)
