• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,740 - $1,860

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kansas or compact state)
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum 2 years of recent bedside clinical experience in a Med/Surg or acute care setting
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission in a medical-surgical unit
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record
• Initiate discharge planning and provide patient education from admission through discharge
• Communicate changes in patient status to physicians and care team members to ensure patient safety and continuity of care
• Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing staff and support personnel
• Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies, infection control, and safety guidelines
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support collaborative healthcare delivery
• Participate in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives
