Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology Unit position requiring a KS or compact RN license and recent oncology experience.

• Work in a 40-bed hospital oncology unit
• Patient population includes individuals receiving radiation, chemotherapy/immunotherapy, and cellular therapy
• Schedule is night shift from 19:00 to 08:30
• Every other weekend is required
• No call responsibilities
• Provide care to oncology patients across the continuum of treatment, including administration of radiation and chemotherapy
• MOAB De-Escalation Training completion recommended
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rules
• First-time travelers are eligible to apply

• Active KS or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent oncology nursing experience
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start
• Current license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US address required
