Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Unit position requiring a KS or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities- Work in a 38-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Unit
- No drip titrations required
- RNs start IVs with IV team support available
- No EKGs performed or sheath discontinuation responsibilities
- Telemetry monitoring with remote telemetry utilized
- Lab staff collect blood specimens
- Uses Cerner One Chart EMR
- Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
- Ceil Blue scrubs required
- Must provide two professional references and a copy of driver’s license for consideration
- MOAB De-Escalation Training and NIH certification strongly encouraged but not required
- COVID vaccination is not required
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate based on facility radius guidelines
- All positions are offered automatically upon meeting requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- US Social Security Number and US home address required
