Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 35-bed Oncology Unit providing chemotherapy and general med/surg care, requiring a KS or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities- Position is in a 35-bed hospital Oncology Unit with active chemotherapy and general med/surg overflow
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- Patient population includes oncology and med/surg overflow
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Role involves caring for oncology and general medical surgical patients, administering chemotherapy, and managing overflow cases
- All candidates must follow facility’s local radius rule; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
- All positions are auto offer
- Time off requests should be included with application
- Extension discussions should begin 45 days before end of assignment
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Nursys license verification must be completed within 30 days prior to start
- Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience required
- US Social Security Number and US address required
- NIH Certification and MOAB De-escalation Training preferred
- Copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
