• Provide direct care to residents according to individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by physicians or supervisors.
• Monitor residents’ health status, including vital signs, physical condition, and emotional well-being.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure high-quality care.
• Document all observations, interventions, and changes in residents  conditions in the electronic health record system.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Respond to emergencies and medical situations promptly and efficiently.
• Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and other support staff.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing, updating, and reviewing care plans to meet residents’ evolving needs.
• Promote a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff.

• Current LPN license in the state of Kansas (or eligible to obtain).
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained upon hire).

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach.
• Ability to assist in the transfer and repositioning of residents.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations and assist in evacuations if needed.
• Good manual dexterity for handling medical equipment, medications, and documents.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot, cold, and noisy settings.
