Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Acute Care

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Long Term Acute Care team in Wichita, KS. This is a great opportunity for dedicated nurses looking for a stable assignment with flexible scheduling options.

Schedule & Compensation
  • Schedule:

    3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours total)
  • Shifts Available:
    Day or Night
  • Compensation:
    • Local candidates: $55/hour
    • Travelers: $2,200/week (must live 50+ miles from facility)
Required Skills & Certifications
  • BLS Certification:
    Must be completed prior to first shift
  • ACLS Certification:
    Required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY)
  • Clinical

    Experience:

    Minimum of 2 years bedside experience

Minimum Requirements
  • Current RN license for the state in which the nurse practices in
  • One (1) year nursing experience in a long-term acute care facility preferred
  • Experience in acute rehabilitation for vents, wound care, cardiac, and stable post trauma patients
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
