Director of Nursing (RN) - Regent Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare

Salary: $100,000+ (more based on years of applicable experience). Annual reviews with pay increases based on satisfactory performance.

- Lead, direct, and ensure quality of nursing department in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Maintain nursing schedule, staffing, overtime approvals and direct care ratios.
- Develop, update policies and procedures and quality assurance programs.
- Coordinate with other resident services for comprehensive care.
- Provide training and performance reviews for staff.
- Serve as key contact for abuse, neglect or exploitation investigations.
- Oversee infection control policies and collaborate with Infection Preventionist.
- Work closely with Human Resources on employee discipline, coaching and retention.
- Maintain compliance with required training and regulatory documentation.
- Handle resident and family complaints, conduct rounds, and ensure highest standard of care.
- Participate in committees, staff appreciation and marketing events.
- Serve as on‑call director Monday‑Friday; available 24/7, with weekend rotation every 5 weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Registered Nurse degree from an accredited institution and active license in Kansas.
- Minimum of long‑term care experience and supervisory experience; experience leading large teams preferred.
- Strong teamwork orientation and commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to make tough decisions under pressure and act as educator to staff.
- Normal business hours in building with occasional after‑hours availability.
