Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Neuro Trauma ICU position requiring a KS or compact RN license and current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Position is in the Neuro Trauma ICU
• Hospital-based intensive care unit specializing in neuro critical care
• Shift is 07:00-19:30
• Work every other weekend is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Care for neuro trauma ICU patients in a critical care setting
• Work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule
• All candidates must provide copies of certifications, license verification, 2 professional references, and a copy of driver’s license
• Covid-19 vaccination is not required for this position
• Radius rule applies for local candidates, with locals paid at a reduced rate
• Only one application per candidate to Ascension system positions is allowed

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Verification via Nursys and current license documentation must be completed within 30 days prior to start
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or MOAB De-Escalation Course (online portion) must be completed prior to start
• On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training to be completed during orientation
• Candidate must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
