Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn ICU position requiring 2 years of ICU experience and current AHA certifications.

• Position is in the Burn ICU Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Uses Cerner for documentation
• Candidates must wear ceil blue scrubs
• Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the Burn ICU
• Must follow the unit's ceil blue scrub dress code
• Cerner documentation system is used for all charting
• Covid vaccination is not required as of July 1, 2023
• Local candidates are accepted, but local pay rates may apply depending on facility radius rule
• Only one position per Ascension system may be held at a time

• Active RN license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current AHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA-approved Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• MOAB or CPI De-Escalation Course with Managing Physical Confrontations (8 Hours) required
• Nursys license verification required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Copy of Driver’s License required
• Two separate professional references required
