Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager of Employee Health provides leadership through strategic planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the care provided to all patients presenting to employee health. The Manager contributes to the development of policies and procedures for employee health care, and serves as a resource for the hospital through consultation, education and research at various levels to continuously improve the Employee Health processes and services.

The Manager displays positive support for the values and mission of Wesley Medical Center.

Required Registration, Licensure or Certification
  • Current Licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse with the ability to obtain a Kansas Registered Nurse license within 90 days of start date
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR

  • None
Required Education or Experience
  • Associate degree in nursing from a school of professional nursing
Preferred Education or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing degree
  • Employee Health experience
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Comfortable and skilled at working with leadership, health care providers and other stakeholders in the organization
  • Capable of gaining immediate credibility with individuals through experience, presentation, communication skills, empathy and compassion
  • Knowledge of PC based computer software, i.e. Word and Excel
  • Broad knowledge and familiarity with health care related regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Experience with continuous compliance processes
  • Ability to multi-task , delegate and prioritize
  • Possess problem solving and critical thinking skills
