American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a float position at a Level 1 trauma center requiring 2+ years of experience and a KS or compact RN license.

• Float position within the Flexible Workforce unit, floating to the highest-need unit or facility
• Level 1 trauma center setting
• 13-week assignment with a 07:00-19:30 shift schedule
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner One Chart EHR
• Ceil blue scrubs required

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Candidates will be notified by phone prior to shift start regarding float assignment location
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates accepted, subject to facility radius rules that may affect pay rate
