American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent hospital ED experience.

• Emergency Services department with 52 beds and 134 staff
• Day shift team includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel per pod
• Patient ratios average 3:1, with 5:1 for low acuity and team nursing for pediatric patients
• Uses Alaris infusion equipment
• EMR:
  Meditech/CPN
• Shift schedule is 7A-7P

• Active KS or compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Emergency Department experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI Blue Card
• ENPC certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Experience in large facility/area settings preferred
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional references required

• Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care
• Scan patient medications at every administration per unit policy
• Fast-paced ER environment suited for adaptable, quick-learning staff
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify
