About the Job

The Cleanroom Compounding Technician will assemble finished sterile products with a focus on patient safety and quality, maintain clean room cleanliness, and ensure supplies are appropriately stacked.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a sterile environment in the cleanroom by garbing, cleaning, and following CGMP-aligned procedures.
  • Clean equipment daily and keep validations up to date.
  • Follow the “tech check tech” process to oversee colleagues’ techniques and practices, including product assembly, measurements, garbing, and documentation.
  • Conduct inventory to identify components needed for scheduled production batches.
  • Ensure all components entering the cleanroom are sterile.
  • Coordinate with compounding and vial wash to obtain supplies; communicate across rooms.
  • Document batch records, Climents, lumacs, and cleaning logs.
  • Prepare and sterilize components/vials and fill solutions into specified containers.
  • Validate garbing standards semi-annually.
  • Complete 3 consecutive media fills in the established time frame and conditions every 6 months.
  • Apply SOPs to package sterile products in final container closure.
  • Designate personnel and hoods for tasks.
  • Use appropriate processes to establish sterility for pass-through products.
  • Clock in and out for each scheduled shift promptly.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1–4 years of hospital or manufacturing experience, or aseptic filling.
  • Knowledge of clean room procedures preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with CGMP regulations preferred but not required.
  • Must pass validation three consecutive times before handling products; re-qualified every 6 months.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, maintain professional relationships, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality, accuracy, sterility, and aseptic technique.
