Store Name:Town East Square Responsibilities
Express is seeking a Retail Sales Leader to join our team.
The Sales Leader drives operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, while assisting in training associates and delivering a great in-store shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential.
- Provide in-the-moment coaching/training to store associates to ensure efficient and effective floor operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management, and execution of standards.
- Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance.
- Assist in training associates on store operations, product, policy, and procedures.
- Execute action plans that optimize results.
- Manage all aspects of daily store operations.
- Ensure appropriate associate coverage to create a great customer experience.
- Oversee and authorize the checkout process.
- Assist with merchandise flow, including shipment, replenishment, omni-channel operations, and in-store activities.
- Monitor and analyze the customer service provided by team members.
- Build an effective schedule with the right associate in the right place at the right time.
- Promote and support an environment focused on delivering excellent in-store customer experiences.
- Effectively resolve customer service issues to positive outcomes.
- Lead and model the customer experience standards.
- Display expert knowledge of product, company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Provide leadership and assistance with product launches, window displays, visual presentation standards, signage, etc.
- Other essential functions as directed by your supervisor.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Proficient in the use of technology (iPad, registers).
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
- Meet physical requirements.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills with customers, peers, and supervisors.
- Demonstrated sales accountability.
- Collaborative skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and processes simultaneously.
