Guest Advocates welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness. They are knowledgeable about in-store and digital services and solutions that drive adoption and guest loyalty, and they help make shopping quick and easy at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to understand and solve their specific needs.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, including area-specific offerings, to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Assist guests with Target loyalty programs and help with enrollment when needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining quality service and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate Target App features and Wallet, and assist with use of Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns following policy, and collaborate with leadership as needed to resolve guest issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage stock during store hours as needed.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services (OPU, Drive-Up, DU Returns) and comply with relevant laws and policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.
