Network Administrator II
Equity Bank – Wichita, KS. Full‑time, salaried position.
Join us as a Network Administrator II to monitor, configure and support the company's network infrastructure, ensuring reliable performance and security for our banking services. This role requires professional technical support for bank team members and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain the local and wide‑area network, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve network and network security problems associated with hardware and software.
- Analyze network efficiency by conducting tests and diagnostics to forecast performance thresholds; monitor and report on traffic, usage, and performance.
- Implement, maintain and update security measures to protect institutional data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Work with vendors and internal resources to conduct risk assessments and remediate identified network security, performance, and capacity risks; conduct vulnerability tests and periodic security audits.
- Monitor and maintain the company’s voice communications system, ensuring uninterrupted access to voicemail and Contact Center systems.
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery methods for the network infrastructure.
- Follow all safety rules, regulations, and company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Maintain a professional image of the bank while in the presence of customers and community.
- Proactively pursue available company‑sponsored training to develop technical knowledge.
- Maintain positive relationships with peers, management, and support resources, demonstrating teamwork and customer service.
- Perform other duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least four years of experience supporting network technologies.
- Familiarity with field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Specific knowledge of CUCM, UCCX, and Cisco Unity.
- Specific knowledge of network and edge security technologies;
Palo Alto preferred. - Industry‑standard certifications such as CCNA or CCNP preferred.

This position requires standing, walking, bending, and squatting on a regular basis. May require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms. The ability to carry, lift, move, or push up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis is required. Must be able to talk and listen to others.
Work EnvironmentThis role typically works in an office setting with routine computer and electronic media use.
