The Medxcel landscaping division continues to expand! Opportunities are available for full‑time, permanent, year‑round work.
Responsibilities- Oversee team members and perform planting and related activities.
- Perform routine lawn maintenance, including grass cutting, lawn edging, weed pulling, and other routine tasks.
- Use lawn mower and related equipment.
- Provide seasonal lawn care, such as spring and fall clean‑up.
- Move materials and equipment and perform related duties to assist in landscaping and hardscaping.
- Digs holes and trenches and excavates for landscaping and hardscaping using picks and shovels or related equipment.
- Hauls or spreads topsoil, gravel, sand, mulch, or related materials using wheelbarrows and rakes.
- Hand‑finishes grade, applies seed, straw, or sod.
- Maintain assigned equipment and notify Landscaping Supervisor of needed repairs.
- Respond politely to customer inquiries and project a professional image.
- Load equipment and materials on and off trucks and trailers.
- Perform snow removal activities as assigned, such as shoveling and salting.
- Assist Facilities Maintenance staff on preventive maintenance, work orders, painting, and other maintenance projects as assigned.
- Applies chemicals under the direction of a licensed chemical applicator.
- Assist and participate in special projects as assigned.
- Some High School or Equivalent – required.
- High School Diploma or GED – preferred.
- State Driver’s License, insurable with company’s agent – preferred.
- Ability to train new associates and educate them on processes, systems and equipment.
- Working knowledge of standard horticultural practices.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Reports to work at required time and performs duties as assigned by the Landscaping Leader and local Facilities Leader.
- Ability to operate a truck and trailer combination proficiently.
