Frame Carpenter

Conco Construction, a self-performing general contractor established in 1975, is expanding nationally. We are looking for a skilled Frame Carpenter to join our crew in Wichita, Kansas.

• Frame with metal studs for walls and soffits in both structural and light‑duty applications.
• Hang sheetrock and install blocking as needed along walls, around window openings, and roof nailers.
• Set door frames correctly.
• Assist with additional tasks as directed based on experience and performance.

• Experience framing with metal studs.
• Ability to hang sheetrock and install blocking.
• Understanding of door frame installation.

• Lift 50 pounds or greater occasionally and 25‑50 pounds frequently.
• Work outdoors and stand for the majority of the day.
• Perform tasks while walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling equipment.

• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Be punctual to the job site.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Be a team player with a strong work ethic.

• All offers are conditioned on successfully passing a background check, drug screen, and physical capacity test.
• Wages are based on experience and performance.
• Must be willing to work outside normal operating hours (7 am‑4 pm, with seasonal adjustments).
• Employees are responsible for transportation to and from the job site.

• Tool bag (includes framing hammer, 16‑oz. hammer, 25‑ft. tape measure, nail bag, nail puller, quick square, utility knife).
• 100‑ft. and 30‑ft. tape measures.
• 2‑in. and 4‑in. levels.
• 1/4‑inch impact square.
• Sheetrock hand tools.
• Lineman pliers.
• 2‑in. framing square.
