Theideal Equipment Field Mechaniccandidatewillbeself -motivated,safety-focused,andabletoworkindependentlyinafast-paced environment.
- Diagnoseandrepairheavyandlightconstructionequipmentinthefield,including loaders,excavators,skid steers,telehandlers,andtrucks
- Performpreventativemaintenanceandinspectionstominimizedowntime
- Troubleshoot mechanical,hydraulic,andelectricalissuesusingproperdiagnostictools
- Communicateeffectivelywithsuperintendentsandshoppersonnelregardingequipmentstatusandneeds
- Completeservicereportsandmaintainaccuratedocumentationofworkperformed
- Ensuresafeworkpracticesandmaintainacleanandorganizedservicetruckandworkarea
- Musthaveavaliddriver slicenseandacceptabledrivingrecord
- CDLpreferredbutnotrequired
Preferred Qualifications
- Previousexperienceasaheavyequipmentmechanic,field technician,orsimilarrole
- Strongmechanicalknowledge,including hydraulics,electrical systems,diesel engines,and welding/fabrication skills
- Abilitytoreadandinterprettechnicalmanuals,schematics,anddiagnosticsoftware
- Excellent problem-solvingskillsandtheabilitytoworkindependentlywithminimalsupervision
- Mustbeabletolift
50poundsorgreateroccasionallyand
25-50poundsfrequently - Mustbeabletoworkoutdoorsandstandformajorityoftheday
- Mustbeabletoperformtaskswhilewalking,climbing,bending,kneeling,crouching,reaching,and handling
- Alloffersofemploymentarecontingentuponsuccessfullypassingabackgroundcheck,drug screen,and physical
- Wagesarebasedonexperienceandperformance
- Mustbeabletoworkextendedhoursandrespondtoemergencyservicecallsasneeded(normaloperatinghours7:00am–4pm)
