Account Executive - Supply Chain & Transportation

Position:
Senior Transportation Manager

Salary:
Six Figure Base + Bonus + Relocation Assistance

Description:

We're working with a large dedicated transportation organization in search of a high caliber senior transportation leader near Wichita, KS. This individual will report into a Regional Director and will eventually be the #1 of the facility. Candidates need to have experience managing large fleets of companies drivers ideally in retail, wholesale, or food distribution industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, directs, and oversees all transportation functions of the client and operation
  • Developing great relationships with the drivers, supervisors, and the client
  • Monitor KPI metrics and analyze operational variables and implement solutions that positively impact account performance
  • Ensures on-time delivery of products and services
  • Ensures transportation operations meets or exceeds safety and regulatory standards

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience in the logistics field (5-10 years)
  • Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, transportation management and logistics solutions with a broad knowledge of DOT rules and regulations

    • Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent leadership abilities
  • Hands on leader that's hungry for growth
