Job Title:

Class A CDL Truck Driver

Job Responsibilities:

* Haul material to and from various jobsites including gravel, sand, dirt, recycled concrete and other aggregate material.

* Perform routine inspections of equipment before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklist.

* Assist heavy-haul drivers as needed with transporting equipment and material such as pipes, CONEX-boxes, form systems..etc.

* Ensure that loads are tightly and safely secured in or on vehicle. May be required to tie rope or secure chains around load.

* Maintain records, logs and inspection reports.

Job Qualifications:

* Must have a valid Class A CDL driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

* 3-5 years of previous experience as an aggregate or material driver is required.

* Must have the ability to operate a manual transmission.

* Must be able to operate a truck-and-trailer configuration (End Dump/Belly Dump). Tandem experience is a plus.

* Responsible for the safe operation of your assigned vehicle and load you are tasked with.

* This role may be required to perform emergency roadside repair to vehicles, including but not limited to: changing tires, installing light bulbs and installing spark plugs.

* This role may assist other workers in loading and unloading vehicles, and could require lifting up to 100 lbs. or more.

* Must be aware of and obey all DOT regulations and rules of traffic.

* Know company safety policies and adhere to them while working at all times.

* Must maintain a good driving record during employment.

* Other miscellaneous duties as directed by your supervisor.
