Position: Support Worker  (Part Time)

Part Time Male Support Worker

Community Integrated Care
Wick, Scotland

We are looking for a Part Time Male Support Worker (16 hours per week) to join our independent living support team in Wick. The role involves supporting a gentleman with an Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health and Epilepsy to live independently in his own home.

Responsibilities
  • Support medication management, cooking, personal care and general home maintenance.
  • Assist with community involvement, including transport to appointments and social activities.
  • Collaborate with the support team to manage finances where appropriate.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with family and peers.
  • Provide companionship and promote a positive, respectful environment.
Qualifications
  • Male (occupational requirement).
  • Available to work 16 hours per week, flexible between 10am‑4pm with occasional weekends and evenings.
  • Previous experience with mental health or caring for individuals with acquired brain injury preferred.
  • Own vehicle and valid driving licence.
  • Access to or willingness to work with a pet dog.
