Facilities Assistant

Facilities Assistant – 15 Hours Post Based at Caithness General Hospital Wick

We are currently recruiting Facilities Assistants for Caithness General Hospital. The role involves supporting catering, laundry and domestic services by ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness in accordance with local infection control policies, Covid‑19 guidance, NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification and Waste Regulations.

• Maintain cleanliness and service standards across the hospital environment.
• Regenerate meals and prepare salads, sandwiches, and snacks for catering services.
• Provide laundry services meeting NHS Scotland National Cleaning Service Specifications.
• Adhere to specified cleaning schedules and promote high standards of hygiene.
• Cover weekends as required under a two‑week rota.

This is a part‑time role, available to work a two‑week rota with weekend coverage. A comprehensive induction and training package will be provided.
