Our client is a specialist Manufacturer of Precision Sand Cast Aluminium and Steel castings for the Defence and Aerospace Engineering Industry.
This client is an award-winning innovative leader in the design, engineering, and manufacture of high-integrity complex castings for world-leading manufacturers.
Pattern Maker is now required.
We are looking for a Carpenter/Joiner for Pattern Making.
* Working with wood (board) material to create precise patterns that are used as a template in the casting process to create complex shapes.
* It would be essential to come from a woodworking environment, where the person would have used handheld/manual tools, guillotines, and sanders.
Would suit a person with joinery experience, who may have been apprentice trained.
The patterns are ultimately finished with CNC machinery and anyone with or wanting to learn this skill would be an advantage.
It would be advantageous if you have experience of manual milling and turning.
Hourly rate £13.00 to £15.00 dependent on flexibility of skills to operate in other areas of our business
