An opportunity has arisen in our busy Wick factory for a Stores Person to work with the team helping to deliver harsh environment and marine CCTV systems to new and existing customers across a range of key sectors, in the UK and internationally. This position is full-time, 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Duties

Included
  • Accurate and timely picking of items from Stores for internal and external customers.
  • Timely picking and packing of items to ensure stipulated deadlines are met.
  • Manual handling and receiving of incoming shipments.
  • Receipting in all incoming goods and distribution as per instructions.
  • Loading and unloading using forklift.
  • Processing transactions on Business Central operating system.
  • Stock control including stock counts.
  • Follow QHSE processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Good IT skills (including MS Office).
  • Preferably 1 – 2 years related experience.
  • Stores/ warehousing background.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • COSHH awareness training is preferred.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload.
  • Ability to work as part of a team towards achieving shared objectives.
  • Strong commitment to providing a high quality service.
  • Good team player.
  • Highly accurate with attention to detail.
  • Fork lift certificate.
